Steve Knudsen joined the HTLF Food & AgriBusiness team in 2022, but he is no stranger to the industry! His personal life and entire career have been focused on supporting agriculture. From assisting on his family’s ranches, to working with industry sales teams, advocating on local, state, and national issues, or participating as a fellow in an Agriculture leadership program, his understanding of agribusiness runs deep.
Currently, Steve is the Director of Business Development, helping manage the growth of HTLF Food & AgriBusiness by connecting with companies nationwide. He will utilize his personal and professional skills, as well as his extensive agribusiness experience, to continue the work he loves most. Prior to joining HTLF, he managed an Agribusiness book of business of over $200 million at another bank.
Steve graduated from California Polytechnic State University with a B.S. in Food Science and a M.S. in Agriculture Marketing and Communications. He lives in Santa Rosa, CA with his wife, son and two dogs, and they enjoy being active members of the community.
